PLAN Celebrates 10th Anniversary!
PLAN officially celebrates 10 years of service this year! To celebrate, we're hosting a fall event, the PLAN Anniversary Bash: Your PLAN for Sweetest Day, on October 17th at the Embassy Suites in Blue Ash.
Join us for a night of cocktails, dinner, live music, dancing, auctions, and other fundraising to benefit PLAN and help us create peace of mind for families and individuals dealing with serious disability in our community. Through a combination of personalized planning and services, PLAN cares for loved ones with disabilities now, but perhaps more importantly in the future when parents and other caregivers can no longer provide care and support.
The Anniversary Bash proceeds will support services for people who are desperately worried about the future of loved ones with disabilities, particularly low income families whose service is subsidized by PLAN's sliding scale program. It's a chance to have fun AND support this important mission, so please join us! Make your online reservations today!

How Can PLAN Help?
Providing care for a family member who has a mental illness, developmental disability, or other disability can be difficult enough. But families are even more concerned about who will continue such care over a loved one's lifetime. The question "Who will care for my loved one when I no longer can" is a nagging one that tugs at the hearts and minds of families caring for a loved one with a disability.
People with disabilities themselves worry about care too, both now and in the future. The stress of coping with a disability can be exhausting and may leave little energy or time to coordinate services, advocate effectively, or recreate. Those with disabilities may depend on a key caregiver for assistance and wonder who will help them if that person no longer can.
PLAN (Planned Lifetime Assistance Network) of Southwest Ohio can help. Although many organizations serve people with disabilities, families often fill in gaps in primary service offerings. PLAN's objective is to step in where families do in terms of coordinating care and assisting individuals over their lifetimes. PLAN's aim is to become a surrogate family member for a person with a disability - a surrogate who has detailed information about and a trusting relationship with that person. PLAN's mission is to create peace of mind by planning and providing lifelong assistance to people with disabilities and their families. From designing and implementing current and future care plans to simply listening to people with disabilities and family members, PLAN creates peace of mind.
