What's New with PLAN?

PLAN Moves

Effective March 1, 2010, the PLAN office will be located at 4300 Rossplain Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. PLAN begins a new collaboration with Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) at this address and will receive office space, reception, bookkeeping and other services from JVS.

While we're eager to move and settle in to our new space, we'll really miss our current collaboration with Jewish Family Services (who are moving to the new Jewish Community Center in April). Thanks, Jewish Family Service, for a great five year collaboration and all your assistance to us!

PLAN 10 Year Anniversary Bash

The event held on October 17, 2009 to commemorate PLAN's 10 Year Anniversary was a resounding success!

Over 250 people enjoyed live music, auctions, dinner, and networking at the Embassy Suites in Blue Ash. Fund raising proceeds to PLAN netted almost $10,000!

Be sure to keep Saturday, October 16, 2010 in mind for this year's Sweetest Day Bash – details coming soon!

PLAN Cognitive Enhancement Therapy Graduation

We've now had three full groups formally graduate from our new Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET) program!

The PLAN of Southwest Ohio CET program graduated another group of CET participants in November, 2009. Congratulations to all 16 graduates and to PLAN of Southwest Ohio's recently certified CET coaches Victor Lloyd, Stacy Martz, Kelly Warden, and Joe Wiley, and to CET coach in training, Bill Morris.

The CET program continues with Group 4 which started in November 2009. PLAN continues their fruitful collaboration with IKRON Corporation as a host site for CET sessions on Wednesday nights.

Our new Post CET Group which began in August, 2009 continues to move along well too. The group meets every other week to review and expand on CET topics and for targeted computer exercise work. This group welcomes David Miller as a new co-coach of the Post CET group!
